Indications
：
Endocarditis caused by Staphylococcus aureus infection, osteomyelitis, pneumonia, sepsis, soft tissue infections, enteritis, caused by Clostridium Infection of pseudomembranous colitis.
Dosage
：
Actual body weight should be used to calculate doses where required, even in the morbidly obese. Round up/down to nearest 100mg to facilitate administration.
Serum teicoplanin levels are not usually required. If required, please notify Microbiology as these are processed off-site and transport will need to be arranged. Continue treatment and chase level results if not reported within 72hours.
