Indications
：
Treatment of deep-vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolism,Prophylaxis of deep-vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolism in general surgery
Dosage
：
Treatment of deep-vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolism Loading dose of 5000 u by IV inj (10,000 u in severe pulmonary embolism) followed by continuous infusion of 15-25 u/kg/hr or treatment of deep-vein thrombosis, by SC inj of 15,000 u every 12 hr. Prophylaxis of deep-vein thrombosis & pulmonary embolism in general surgery 5000 w by SC inj 2 hr before surgery, then every 8-12 hr for 7 days or until patient is ambulant.
