Nangkuang’s RTU (Ready to Use) Research Team had launched Holdipine, a Ready-To-Use nicardipine prefilled syringe injection in August 2016. Immediately upon launch, the product gained good reputation and wide recognition, and was approved and adopted formally by many medical centers or local hospitals successively. RTU products feature in easy, quick, safe, and cost reducing. In order to promote RTU products’ application in acute and critical care, Nangkuang collaborated with a large domestic medical center and sponsored clinical trials to demonstrate RTU products’ brilliant performance among in vivo dynamics, bioequivalence, and pharmacoeconomics.    

Holdipine’s clinical trial has been completed recently. The performances of pharmacokinetics (PK) parameters in absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion conformed to the reference drug. In addition, its bioequivalence (BE) to the reference drug has also been demonstrated. The pharmacoeconomics (PE) performance especially showed the benefits and features of RTU products. 44 seconds were saved averagely for preparation, which is at least 30% less than the time required for the preparation of traditional ampoule products. To sum up, the benefits of Nangkuang’s Holdipine prefilled syringe injection, which is easy, quick, and safe, have been demonstrated by clinical trials.
